- The patient is advised to:
- Avoid touching, scratching or rubbing the treated area for the next 48 hours.
- Avoid vigorous exercise for the next 48 hours
- Use antiperspirants after recovery
- Keep the wound clean and dry
- To take prescribed medications for pain and swelling
- Take a day off in case of surgery
- In case of severe allergic reactions, infections, abnormal swelling and pain, contact the doctor immediately.
