The procedure makes the breasts fuller in volume, and more projecting, while changing the contours of the area. The procedure

The procedure of fat transfer or implant placement is quite similar to buttock augmentation.

• General anesthesia is administered before the surgery.
• Depending on the process, the physician may make an incision that can be periareolar, inframammary, or axillary.
• The implants are placed either under the pectoral muscle or behind the breast tissue over the pectoral muscle, depending on the type of implants chosen.
• Once this process is complete, the incisions are sutured.

Healing process

The patient can be discharged on the same day. Recovery from the surgery or any pain or bleeding (if any) may take a few days. In some cases, there will be swelling, which will subside in a few weeks. Surgery incision lines will disappear over some time. The results of the augmentation are visible soon. Patients who have undergone breast augmentation procedures can get back to normal life and resume normal work or even exercises, based on the pace of recovery and as advised by the surgeon.
